Thank you for choosing Carpe Diem Driving School for your driving education needs. Please read these terms and conditions carefully before enrolling in any of our driving programs.

1. Enrollment: By enrolling in any of our driving programs, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions.

2. Payment: Payment for our driving programs is due in full at the time of enrollment, unless otherwise arranged with Carpe Diem Driving School. We accept payment via EFT, Cash / Bank Deposit

3. No Refunds: All payments made for driving packages are non-refundable. This includes but is not limited to individual lessons, package deals, and any other driving program offered by Carpe Diem Driving School. Once payment is made, no refunds will be issued for any reason.

4. Rescheduling: We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, and we will make every effort to accommodate your scheduling needs. However, please note that rescheduling of lessons is subject to availability and must be done within the terms outlined in our rescheduling policy.

5. Lesson Cancellations/ booking confirmation:  In the event that you need to cancel a scheduled lesson, please provide us with at least 24 hours notice. Failure to provide adequate notice may result in a forfeiture of that lesson and/or will still be liable for payment. Repeated late cancellations may lead to restricted booking availability. Lessons are only confirmed once the date, time and payment arrangements have been agreed upon. Verbal discussions or provisional arrangements do not constitute a confirmed booking.

6. Student Requirements: All students must meet the minimum requirements set forth by Carpe Diem Driving School in order to participate in our driving programs. These requirements may include but are not limited to age restrictions, possession of a valid learner’s permit or driver’s license, and completion of any necessary paperwork.

7. Liability: While we take every precaution to ensure the safety of our students, Carpe Diem Driving School and its instructors are not liable for any accidents, injuries, or damages that may occur during driving lessons or practice sessions under control of a student driver.

8. Code of Conduct: We expect all students to conduct themselves in a respectful and responsible manner at all times during their participation in our driving programs. Any behavior deemed inappropriate or unsafe may result in immediate termination from the program without refund.

9. Changes to Terms: Carpe Diem Driving School reserves the right to make changes to these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Any such changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website or other communication channels.

10. Attention to learners package: We enroll all clients into an audio and visual study course that is valid for 28 days. If you complete the course 100% with tests and fail the first time, we will take you through to write the learners test at no additional cost. No second opportunity will be given unless the learner has provided their certificate of completion. Learners are expected to complete and study 100% of the course material.  Failure to do so will result in forfeiting the opportunity for a second attempt.

11. Instructor Availability:  All lessons are scheduled according to instructor
    availability and within legally permitted working hours. We reserve the right
    to adjust or reschedule lessons to remain compliant with regulations and to
    ensure safe, effective instruction. Client safety is always a priority.

12.  Instructor Cancellations, Emergencies & Traffic:  We aim to give adequate notice at all times. However, lessons may be cancelled or adjusted at short notice due to genuine emergencies, traffic conditions, or unforeseen circumstances.  Lessons cancelled by the instructor will be rescheduled as soon as possible. Traffic-related delays may result in lessons starting later or being rescheduled.
13. Price & Package Adjustments:  Carpe Diem Driving School reserves the right to adjust lesson pricing, package structures, and/or lesson duration at any time due to changes in operational costs or circumstances beyond our control. These may include, but are not limited to – Fuel price increases, vehicle maintenance or operational cost increases, government policy or regulatory changes, natural disasters or extreme weather conditions, supply disruptions, war, civil unrest, or international events affecting fuel supply and or any other unforeseen circumstances that may significantly affect operating costs. Where lesson packages extend over a period of time, such adjustments may be applied during the duration of the package if significant changes occur. Clients will be informed of any adjustments where reasonably possible. By purchasing a lesson package and/or continuing with lessons, the client acknowledges and accepts that such adjustments may occur should circumstances beyond the control of Carpe Diem Driving School impact operational costs.
14. Weekend & Peak-Time Lessons: Weekend and peak-time lessons are limited and subject to

15. Availability: While we try our best to accommodate requests, we cannot
    guarantee lessons every weekend or long-term weekend bookings unless otherwise
    agreed upon. Availability is managed fairly, and some weekends may be
    unavailable. 

16. Traffic & External Conditions:  Lessons may be affected by traffic, road closures, accidents, or weather conditions. As a result, lessons may start later, be
    shortened, or be rescheduled. These situations are outside of our control and will be handled fairly and reasonably.

17. Safety & Lesson Adjustments:  Safety remains our top priority. Lessons may be adjusted, postponed, or cancelled if conditions are unsafe or if the instructor is
    unwell. These decisions are made in the best interest of both the client and instructor.

18. Fair Use of Lesson Times:  To ensure fairness, no client may reserve or expect
    exclusive access to weekend or peak-time slots. All clients are treated
    equally. Persistent pressure or disregard for policies may result in restricted
    availability or cancellation of services.

19. No Guarantee of Specific Times:  We do not guarantee:

                   •             The same lesson times each week

                   •             Weekend-only schedules

                   •             Long-term peak-time availability

    Lesson times may change based on demand, capacity and operational requirements.

20. Package Validity: All lesson packages must be used within three (3) months from the start date unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. Packages not used within this period will automatically expire. No refunds will be issued unless agreed upon by management. This means all lessons within a package are expected to be completed within three months of commencement. Lesson times may change based on demand, capacity and operational requirments.

21. Exceptions:  Any exception to these terms is at management’s discretion and is considered a once-off arrangement. Exceptions do not set a precedent for future bookings.

22. Acceptance of Terms:  By proceeding with a booking or purchasing a lesson package, clients confirm that they have read, understood, and accepted these terms and
    conditions.
